All teachers are university graduates who hold a recognised qualification in teaching English (English as a Foreign Language).
All of our teachers are required to have a minimum of 2 years experience although our current staff have a minimum of 5 and up to 20 years’ experience. Half of our teachers also have the highest English teaching qualification.
We are a small team of dedicated professionals. We will be happy to welcome you in our online school.
Corinne
Teaching experience 12 years
I never set out to be a teacher originally as I studied Earth Science at University, but fate has an interesting way of intervening. I worked in South America for a year and became fluent in Spanish which sparked an interest in languages and the process of learning them. I decided to study for the CELTA qualification and moved to Mexico to teach in a couple of schools there.
I have had the opportunity to teach all levels and age groups and I love interacting with my students and making a difference to their lives. Now I’m settling back in the UK and enjoying the wide range of nationalities I am able to meet and teach.
My classes are dynamic and informative as possible and I pay attention to the needs and abilities of each student. I have previously worked in teacher training too, so have a good knowledge of what is required to create an effective class.
My hobby is to spend free time with friends and to explore new parts of London. As they say, you can never get bored of London!

Kate
I'm Teacher Kate. I'm from England but I live in Spain. I got my certificate in TESOL in 2008 and for the past 5.5 years I've been teaching English online to young learners.
I'm a creative and adaptable teacher and like to bring the student's own interests into the classroom so that we can engage in meaningful conversation that complements their language learning and also provides a more personalised learning experience.
I have a neutral accent which helps students master their pronunciation skills.
I studied science at university and I'm inquisitive by nature, always asking questions and love learning new things especially about animals and the natural world which I hope helps to inspire a positive learning environment.
I'm also a mum and I'm educating my 7 year old son at home and we love to use lego to play games and tell stories which is a great way to learn and process new information. I love teaching children around the primary school age as students are learning new things everyday and we can continue that in English.
I hope to meet you soon in the classroom and start a new journey of learning and growing together.

Oriana
My name is Oriana and I am from England.
At school I studied French and German, and later in life also learned some Italian and Dutch (in classes and self-taught). I had a great time doing this and found it challenging and fun.
As someone who loves languages and has a passion for language-learning, passing on that enthusiasm by teaching English to non-native speakers has been very rewarding for me. My lessons involve individual students and small groups, using pre-prepared materials and coursebooks that we work through together, as well as practicing conversational English, playing games with flashcards, and preparing for international school interviews. I aim to break down lesson objectives and ensure students understand these and try their best, giving them positive encouragement and guidance along the way to achieving their language-learning goals.
My hobbies include reading, art, baking, listening to music, and exploring different countries and cultures whenever I get the opportunity. I love to travel and have visited many different countries in Europe, where I feel it is important to try to speak a bit of the language when I can!

Kelly
My name is Kelly and I am from England.
I have been working as an online ESL Teacher since 2020 and I live in England on the beautiful East Yorkshire coast. I have my TEFL 150HR and 120HR certificates and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) Degree in Creative Music Technology. I am also currently studying for my Level 5 Advanced Diploma in TEFL.
My career teaching English began in 2010 whilst I was working in the music industry. As part of my job working for a music festival, I was responsible for looking after work experience students from Germany aged 13-15. It was my job to teach them not only about the music industry, but also to assist with the progression of their English skills, teaching and explaining words related to the job and general life. I have always had a strong passion for teaching and learning and I love to see my students make progress and succeed. Prior to teaching English, I also worked as a music teacher, giving cello lessons; a beautiful instrument that I was fortunate enough to start learning to play at the age of 8.
My teaching style has been described by my students as energetic, rigorous, interesting and fun. I encourage all students to make mistakes, as I believe this is one of the best ways to learn. Making mistakes when learning English is not a bad thing as mistakes give us something to correct and something to work on. I also like to include sufficient repetition of words and phrases to improve and maintain pronunciation. I love to bring props into my classroom to help my students to see beyond just a word or a picture. The majority of my online English students so far have been aged 3-13, but I have also been lucky enough to teach a variety of students aged 3-55.
In my spare time, I love to keep learning, whether that be reading, playing my cello and learning a new song, teaching myself a new language, or trying out a new recipe - I love to cook and bake! As someone with food allergies, I love experimenting with food. I am also a big sports fan and another thing I love to do in my spare time is watch my favourite team play football. I also love to travel. Working in the music industry, I was lucky enough to travel to various places across Europe and Canada. I feel that all of these things allow me to bring a wealth of experience and ideas to the classroom.
